Hello and
welcome to the
New G website. New G is on a roll and we want you to be involved. We invite you to look through the site to learn more about
the group and our mission to spread the word of God. And if you, or
someone you know, might be interested in joining our group, be sure to
stop by at a rehearsal (most Sundays at 5:00) or give us a call. Enjoy!

The
New Generation Singers are a Christian ensemble from St. Joseph, Missouri. "New
G" is composed of approximately 100 area high school and college age youth from
all over the region; from many churches and many denominations.
Each year New G builds a "Sermon in Song"
that we share Sundays throughout the summer with local churches, then we go on a two week tour. Following our annual tour we prepare
a Christmas concert for the entire family.

2012 Spring Membership Drive
We have one more official "rally
night" on January 29th, 5:00 p.m. at Ashland United Methodist
Church (but guest are welcome anytime). We this last night
to really be a big one, so bring a friend! This is
especially a good time for potential members to come check
out the group when we spend extra time explaining what New G
is all about. Membership is open to second semester eighth
graders through high school and college (must also be
un-married).
CHRISTMAS CONCERTS
New G had two
great - standing room only - Christmas concerts in
mid-December.
The pictures are finally ready! I apologize for the delay,
December and January were "complicated" with many factors
that made it difficult to work on these. But trust me,
they're worth the wait - I included just about anything that
was lit and in focus (which is why there are three sets)!

New for those of you in a hurry - the New G Singers in less
than 3 minutes! This is a "re-cut" of the longer video below,
but compacted down to 3 minutes. It's aimed at churches that
will be hosting New G so that you can promote the group to your
church. It should work for Sunday morning announcements or
perhaps a TV you have running in the welcome area.
Want the full version... It's that time of year when
churches may be "checking us out" to see if they would like to
host New G for a performance. So, if you represent a church that's thinking about hosting New G
for our
two-week tour (to New York and back), this video is for you!.
This video will tell you a lot about the group and what it means
to host the New G. You'll hear from current singers, our
director, sponsors and audience members about the impact and
importance of a New G performance. You'll also get a taste for
the high quality and non-stop energy of the music, underscored
by an important message.
So if you're worried about "the future of our kids", watch this
nine minute video and your faith in youth and their ability to
praise God will be renewed. Help New G spread that message by
hosting the group in your church!
