To say it was hot at this performance would be like
saying....well....there is no good way to say it other than it was HOT.
But that didn't stop New G from putting on another great performance for
a very appreciative audience. And thanks to the folks at the Changing
Hearts Crusade, you can view the performance at
www.mercystream.com!

Sorry I didn't get better pictures of faces, but at left is the
Evangelist for the Crusade, Dr. Jim Anderson; at right is perhaps New
G's biggest fan, Pastor Jimmy Porter; and of course, center is Byron
Myers, executive director of New G.

In addition to being a nice cool building, the Crusade folks fed New G -
always a great thing!

Like the audience, the Singers sang along with new and traditional
songs.

This is the crew who broadcast the performance on the Internet. There
may have been some technical problems getting all of it streamed live,
but within a day or two, they had all of the video online at
www.mercystream.com. (I'm
betting the weather played a part in the technical problems - did I
mention it was HOT!).

Jimmy Porter was also aware that this performance was the last for New G
Singer Brian Wolfe (standing). The next day, Brian left for basic
training to join the Air Force. The audience gave him a standing ovation
for his dedication and commitment. Needless to say, the New G family is
also very proud of Brian and wish him well, and safety, in his training.
If all goes according to plan, he'll be back for a visit around
mid-December.

The evening ended with audience members coming forward to pray - New G
formed their traditional circle as well.

Thank you to the folks at the Changing Hearts Crusade - especially
Pastor Jimmy Porter - for a memorable evening. (Rumor has it New G might
be back in Platte City for a Christmas concert - check back for
details!)
